Wanting to get my start in a Design-based career, I decided to start making custom game mats. Be it card games like Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokemon, etc., or a board game or even just wall art; I have made some really cool designs that have sparked the interests of many people. Thanks to Neverland Games (a local card game and hobby shop) in Hagerstown, MD, I have been able to advertise and market my designs. I may not technically be employed at Neverland Games, but our arrangement is mutually beneficial.
These are some of my pre-made designs, more will be added soon. Please note that I have “watermarked” my designs so as to protect my interests.
ELEMENTAL SET
My Elemental Set is influenced by the traditional (and in some cases, non-traditional) elements seen in many a fantasy genre film, show or game. Each design in this set showcases the Kanji symbol that represents and corresponds to each element. The Elements in this set (so far) are: Earth, Darkness, Water, Light, Fire, Wind, Thunder and Ice.
DRAGON SET
Anyone who knows me knows that I love dragons, so it makes sense that I would design a set of mats that focus on dragons. I have six designs in this set (so far).
MISCELLANEOUS
These last two mats do not belong to any particular set, so I collectively just refer to them as “Miscellaneous.” These are the Space and Time mat designs.
CUSTOM DESIGNS AND PRICES
As implied, I have also done Custom-made designs for clients. I may have some of those posted here soon.
Because of what I have to put in to have them printed, I have set up my prices as follows:
- Design from a pre-made set – $20
- Inserting a custom card layout or other personalization – +$5
- Requested custom design from scratch – Starts at $25, and could increase depending on how in-depth the design or size.
- Standard Size (11″ x 24″)
- Larger Size – cost extra depending on the size
